Background

Wake UP Films.com was founded in April 2003, under the name Wake-UP Productions.  We began posting short videos of wakeboarding and skateboarding on the internet, two years before websites like YouTube were founded and made it possible for anyone to share videos of themselves and their friends enjoying watersports.

Shortly after, we started wakeskating and changed our name to Wake UP Films. The first posting under the Wake UP Films name was a short video featuring Tony Robinson’s ReWind Winch in September 2003.

Today, over 10 years later, we continue the tradition of sharing our experiences wakeskating with everyone across the world through our website.  We hope you enjoy our photos and videos.  Have fun shredding out on the water!
